Nadine Tigner Obituary
July 12, 1944 - July 4, 2022
Everett, Washington - Nadine Agnes Tigner (Klander) passed away on July 4th 2022 at home while bravely battling ALS. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. She was born on July 12, 1944, in Bellingham Washington, attended Mt Baker high school and graduated 1961. Daughter of parents John Klander (1910-1974) and Elizabeth Ida Klander (Stevenson) (1915-2011). Beloved wife Ira Gene Tigner, sister of Nona Klander, Mary Postlewait(Klander),
James Klander (1941-2014), Robert Klander (1938-2012) and Richard Klander. She is survived by loving sons Tony William Tigner and Thomas Eugene Tigner, Granddaughter Kami Daniel Tigner and Grandsons Andrew James Tigner and Jeffery Thomas Tigner.
Nadine worked at the Everett public library for 25 years and retired 2002. She loved her entire family. She worried about them, rooted for them, protected them, forgave them, and always loving them.
In her free time, she enjoyed traveling (Maui), spending time with friends and family and especially quality time with her Grandchildren, who she proudly doted over and spoiled every chance she got.
Nadine will be desperately missed by all those that she's left behind. Our hearts are so broken by this loss. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed. She wished to be remembered and acknowledged as a hardworking, loving mother, unselfish friend.
A Celebration of Nadine's life is planned at the Bellingham yacht club, Marina room from 11 am to 2 pm Saturday October 22, 2022 .

A precious friend since 6th grade! Lots of fun picking berries together, walking the Mt. Baker Hwy. to each other's house, all while giggling and talking about boys! We managed to stay in touch over the years with an occasional cup of coffee or a phone call still talking about her boys and my family. Many precious memories with a very sweet friend.
