Hello Melanie, Just wanted to include my expression of sorrow at the loss of Phyllis. I used to have lunch at her Et Cet Era home along with Bill Briggs. We always enjoyed everything about that restaurant: the purposely mismatched table ware, the location, the one-of-a kind setting, the personal warm welcome, and of course the great food made with all the right ingredients, including plenty of butter. Yes, the chicken and biscuits was a favorite with a delicious gravy, and the green peas!! Oh, I almost forgot the home made rolls. Also I remember fondly the French silk chocolate pie--to die for. And of course that is where we first met you when you were waiting tables, and also Garret. Many lovely memories, thanks to Phyllis. See you again at your deli, soon I hope. Sincerely, Ken Strickler (Cambridge, NY)
