I just received the shocking news of Carol's passing. My deepest sympathy to the entire family. I had attended school with Carol at St. Mary's and Lee High School, and remember her as a vibrant, loving and caring person. I know that you will miss her, but she is at peace, and will be remembered by so many people as she remains in our hearts and memories.

Sheila, Brenda and Tommy, I was shocked and saddened to hear of your mother,s passing. I will treasure the gourd that she gave me for our fiftieth class reunion. It was great having breakfast with her and Paul while she was in town. I will miss our e-mail chats. She was a great lady.

Carol was a very good friend and co-worker. She helped our family out several times by staying in our home while we were on vacation and taking care of our family pets. Your Mother had a way about her that was kind and gentle. I loved the way she laughed and always made me (us)feel loved. We invited her into the family with open arms as if she was a part of us from the begining. You and Dave will continue to be a huge part of the Nabor's family and know you are surrounded by love now and forever. Angel's are surrounding her now watching down on you to live life well as she will see you one day in the far future.

To the family of Carol my deepest condolences. I had the privilege of meeting and working with Carol at the original Midway Airlines and thought her to be one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. She treated all of the pilots as if they were family and we all appreciated that. May her final flight be the best ever.

I'm so sorry to hear about Carol. I worked with her through FSRMC when she was a surgery scheduler. She was very good at her job and made things easier for those of us trying to schedule surgeries. She became a good friend and I enjoyed her good sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family at this difficult time. We will all miss her.

Brenda,Shelia,and Tom, you had one hell'va Mom. I met her at Midway Airlines while she was a scheduler and I was one of those pilot's. She was an absoulute pleasure to work with. We also lived next door to each other in Chicago. I will miss talking to her as we chatted every few months for the past number of years. She talked about you kids often and I always loved to hear how the gould paintings were doing.

Brenda, Thinking of you as you Honor your Mother. You will never forget your mother's face, the sound of her voice, the gentleness of her touch - they let you know you were loved. You will never forget the stories she told, the traditions she handed down - they let you know who you are. You will never forget the lessons she taught, the things she stood for- they are her gift and legacy. You will never forget, and you will always know that you honor her every day in how you live and who you are. Heaven is Real - It's a "Positive Place", where those who Believe - Meet God Face to Face . Our loved ones just go beyond the sight of our vision and the touch of our hands. They are waiting for us "On the other side of Death- where Time is not counted by years and there are no separations. Mothers are gifts from above, and when she goes home to receive her reward, she will dwell in God's Kingdom, where she will "light up the stars that shine through the night and keep the moonbeams sparkling and bright". Mothers don't die, they just move in with God and watch from above.

Brenda, Shelia, and Tom: Will certainly miss your mom's and my weekly telephone chats. My main regret is not going to Ireland with her sooner. As you all know we reconnected about 10 to 12 years ago due to the UConn/Lady Vols basketball games. Brenda: check out your mom's entry when she inducted herself into the Women's Hall of Fame. Hopefully, they keep those things in the computer at the Women's Hall of Fame in Knoxville.
Your mom was a special person and a good friend. She was connected to so many of our former classmates it amazes me. Her memory will be in our hearts forever.
