Marcia loved you on The Bob Newhart Show and The Match Game. You were the other Marcia, Marcia, Marcia thanks to Gene Rayburn. Loved when he called you that way and you would just say Gene. You are a very funny lady that I would rank right up there with Carol Burnett. Sisters from another mother. I say are because there is life after death. Your soul lives on forever. Jesus conquered death for all of us if you believe in Him. God bless you and keep you.

I am sitting here watching an old episode of Magnum PI, and she is a coach in the episode, just jumped on Tom Selleck's back. She really was funny on Newhart, very likeable. She passed away too young. Glad to see she has a son, who can carry on her memories. So sorry for her family. I had no idea she grew up in Creston, Iowa. Wow, that is probably why she is so likeable, most Iowans are.

Six years since we have had the pleasure of your laughter, voice and beautiful smile. So thankful we have access to your work. To this day, I still feel like you're actually "Carol", the receptionist working behind that strange circular desk wearing a mini-skirt and mile high hair. In my mind, you're still there with the rest of the crew. I can't imagine anyone but you and your co-stars doing those parts. Perfect casting! For me, watching those old Bob Newhart shows are like taking a mini-vacation. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

People sometimes don't realize what their character does to people. My sons are in their mid-twenties now and for the past 20 years, because of Marcia Wallace and that lovely, funny voice whenever we are going up to use the bathroom, one of us (still to this day) will say "HA ! Turlet !" A silly little line to the creators of the show and a line Marcia never thought of again for any reason, but it our little corner of the world that woman started something that still makes us laugh and puts a smile on our faces in my home. I will always think of her now and her family is in my prayers. Rest in peace Marcia.

October 27, 2013
Who will ever forget Marcia Wallace who always gave Bob Newhart, a run for his money, and could match him comedian-to-comedian, on Bob's shows! Marcia may have had the wildest red hair, but she was a strong actress and comedy talent. Also, she was the voice behind the frustrated teacher, always after love and Principal Skinner, on "The Simpsons", too! There was an announcement, a while back, in the newspapers, that said that an important character, on "The Simpsons" was going to be gone off the show, or deceased, I always wondered if they meant Marcia, since she was having health problems, and she was the voice behind the teacher. Anyway, Marcia will be terribly missed, no matter what. Guess Heaven got richer, and Earth, poorer. Sure am going to miss her!
