Felipe Hernandez Obituary
12, 2024. Vigil services will be at 7:00 PM Monday at
Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM
Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial at
Coahoma Cemetery.
He was born July 26, 1953, in Big Spring, Texas to Magdalena
and Aurturo Hernandez.
He worked most of his life as an electrician at Corell
Electric, Fina Refinery and in recent years in construction
and remodeling. He was a lifetime resident of Big
Spring and he was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic
Church.
Felipe loved painting and any kind of crafts, especially memorials to family
members. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan.
He is survived by four children: Ada Hernandez and her partner Trystan,
Tracey Kelley and (David), Michelle Cervantes and (Manuel), Gene Villarreal
and (Esthela); four brothers: Carlos Hernandez, Rodolfo Hernandez and
(Lupe), Federico Hernandez, and Rogelio Hernandez and (Amy); sister- in-law:
Melinda Hernandez; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Felipe was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Arthur "Novie"
Hernandez and Ruben Hernandez; and one sister: Norma Hernandez.
