Patsy Elizebeth Powell

Patsy Elizebeth Powell, 74, of Big Spring, Texas, died peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 26, 2017, in Longmont, Colo.
Patsy is survived by her son, Dwaine Croft, and his three daughters, Brianna, Evie, and Alexandra; by her son, Douglas Croft and his son, Jake; by her sisters, Linda Munoz, and Sandra Holliman Hallford; and by her brother, Bobby Holliman.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Frankie and Richard Holliman; her husband, Robert Powell; and her brother, Thomas Holliman.
Patsy was born and raised in Big Spring, Texas. Although she left Big Spring after her first marriage, she always considered Big Spring her home. While raising her sons, she lived in Commerce City, Colo. After her children were grown, she returned to Big Spring, where she worked as a waitress and met her second husband, Robert Powell. In 2008, upon Robert's death, Patsy moved back to Colorado, and was able to spend her remaining years with her two sons and their children. Patsy enjoyed crafting and was very skilled at creating gifts such as wreaths and handmade jewelry that she loved to give to family and friends. She will be missed.
A memorial service is to be held on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Big Spring, Texas.
