Phyllis Powell Obituary
It is with great sadness that I express the passing of my mother, Phyllis Marie Powell. On Thursday, Jan 15, 2025, the Lord called her home to Glory. She gave this earth 73 good years - all of which I am thankful for. Although a good portion of her life was spent coping with mental health issues, specifically Schizophrenia. She made the best of it. She remained upbeat and there was always a smile on her face.
Her impact on our family will always be cherished. She leaves behind her one son (me), four grandchildren, father, six siblings, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Note: There will be NO funeral service or memorial. I would rather everyone's last memory of her be from a good time that they shared as opposed to the shell that would have been inside of a coffin.
