Edward Martin Lich
Edward Martin Lich, known affectionately as Ed or Eddie, unexpectedly passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 57. He was born on April 17, 1967, in Billings, MT to Harvey and Shirley Lich. He was the fourth of five children and lived his life with a spiritedness that drew others to him.
Ed worked most of his career in the grocery store industry, with his final years being spent at Sam's Club of Billings. His strong work ethic, dedication, and contagious sense of humor were his trademarks, making every workday brighter for those around him.
Beyond his professional life, Ed had a profound love for the outdoors and animals, particularly horses. His interest started at a young age when he would often visit family farms/ranches. From that time onwards, it was clear the happiest days of his life would be spent riding.
Ed's vibrant personality made him the main attraction at family gatherings, where his quick wit and humorous stories were not only entertaining but often carried a deeper message. One could always count on hearing his unique perspective. His point of view will be missed greatly by those who knew & loved him.
Ed leaves behind siblings: Tim (Bonnie) Lich, Shelley Lich, Lisa Lich Schlepp; Sister-in-law, Cyndi Songer Lich; nephews: Ben (Hope) Lich, Cameron Murfitt, Haydn Schlepp, Rylan Schlepp, and Ian (Melissa) Songer. Additionally, he has several other extended family members, including aunts, uncles & cousins.
He was greeted in heaven by his mother, Shirley Lich and older brother, Derek Lich.
Cremation has taken place and a private, family interment will be held at a later date.
The last goodbye's
The hardest one to say.
This is where the cowboy rides away.
Gone too soon. You will be FOREVER in our hearts.
Until we meet again....
