DICKINSON - Hattie Kadrmas, 91, Dickinson, died April 13, 2007, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Hattie's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Tuesday, April 17, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with the Rev. Jim Braaten as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. MDT Monday, at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. There will be a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m. MDT Monday, at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Deacon Bob Stockert presiding.

Hattie was born Feb. 19, 1916, in Dunn County, the daughter of Michael and Agrippina (Adamski) Franchuk. She was raised and educated in Dunn County. She married Alphonse Kadrmas June 18, 1935, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She and Alphonse lived on a farm northeast of Dickinson, and farmed until they moved to Dickinson, in March of 1987.

She especially enjoyed going back out to the farm, playing cards and visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by six sons, Alvin (Doreen) and Harvey (Mary Jane), all of Bismarck, Conrad, Adrian (Donna), and Myron (Gayle), all of Dickinson, and Curt (Phyllis), Lakota; nine daughters, Irene (Alfred) Jirges, Phyllis (Gary) Kostelecky, Jeanette (Al) Fischer, all of Dickinson, Evelyn Kadrmas, Bloomington Minn., Verlie Burlingame, Lawrence, Kan., Jan (Chuck) Woods, Columbus, Mont., Grace (Bob) Mracek, Breckenridge, Minn., Anita (Loren) Johnson, Tacoma, Wash., and Heide (Chuck) Luedtke, Mandan; 42 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 8, 1993; five brothers; two sisters; one great-grandson; and one son-in-law, Bob Burlingame.
