Katherine Walrath Obituary

SENECA, S.C.-Katherine "Kay" Alice Walrath, 72, of Mary Sue Lane Seneca SC (A resident of Etowah NC from 1978 - 2000) has left her earthly home to dance on the streets of gold with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday September 2, 2015. Kay is survived by her soul mate- her CS, Charles "Chuck" Walrath Jr. of 43 years of wedded bliss, her daughter Dawn of SC, her son Paul Walrath and his bride Cindy of AL. Dawn's daughter, her first granddaughter Sarah and groom Adam Lee of MS whom gifted her with her very first great granddaughter Roselyn Faye in June. As well as her two rowdy redheaded grandsons, Dawns two boys, Isaac and Nathan Walrath of SC and Paul and Cindy's amazing granddaughters, Cassidy and Jana Walrath of AL. She also is survived by an older brother in MI and numerous nieces & nephews. Those whose life she touched are countless: Family friends and loved ones will join her in the sweet by and by. Until then, we will all miss her sweet smile, wit and humor that she was always known for. Her love and kindness will forever be remembered. A memorial service will be arranged at a later time.
