SIMMONS, Abram F., Jr. Of Reading, formerly North Reading and Methuen, June 13, 2011, age 85. Husband of the late Florence W. (Cassell) Simmons. Father of Gary and wife Dianne of North Reading, Glenn and wife Jean of Wakefield, Grant and wife Vicki of Las Vegas, NV and daughter Abigail Pierce, and husband Daniel of Wendell, NC. Grandfather of Nicholas Piro, Erich Simmons, wife Elaine and daughter Avery, Courtney Goodwin, husband Gregory and daughter Drew and son Graham. Brother of, Edna Dunn and her husband Charles of Mattapoisett, MA and Allen Simmons and his wife Eleanor of Rockport, TX. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17 at 11AM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 235 Park Street, North Reading. Calling hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., NORTH READING. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Parkinsons Research Foundation, Processing Center, PRF, P.O. Box 96318, Washington, DC 20090-6318. A US Navy Veteran of World War II and US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict Croswell Funeral Home North Reading (978) 664-3031
