Alexander Dunning Obituary

Of Woburn, formerly of Cambridge on February 11. Beloved husband of Clarice (Roberts). Devoted father of Andienne McAllister of Acton and Dwight Dunning of Wakefield. Brother of Virginia Rice of Cambridge. Grandfather of Hollis and Maxwell McAllister of Acton as well as extended family Daniel McALLister of Acton and David Kosta of Wakefield. Alexander had a lifelong interest in electronics and aviation. He worked at Charles Stark Draper Labortory of Cambridge for 34 years after serving in WWII he started his career by graduating from East Coast Aero Tech. He then enrolled and graduated from electronics and engineering school. He was able to use his varied skills at Raytheon for 12 years after which he worked at various startup research and development firms. At Draper Labs (formerly M.I.T. Instrumentation Labs) he found his niche; he was part of a team of like minds. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church, 0 Garden St., Cambridge on Saturday Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alexander C. Dunning Scholarship Fund for East Coast Aero Tech, 150 Hanscom Drive, Bedford, MA 01730.

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. It is a hard thing to go through but you will be in my prayers. Keep your head up high and ask God for his blessings. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I will pray for them and for your mom especially.
