ALICE WANG Obituary

WANG, Alice (Sze) Died peacefully at the age of 98 on March 29, 2022 in Bedford, MA. She was born in Washington, D.C., the youngest child of Sao-Ke Alfred Sze and Alice Tong Sze. She grew up in D.C., where her father was the first Chinese Ambassador to the USA, and in London, England, where he was the Chinese Minister to the Court of St. James. She attended the Sidwell Friends School and Wellesley College. Alice and family lived in Cambridge and Lexington, MA, after relocating from Hong Kong in 1961. She was a member of the Ladies Committee at the Boston MFA for many years.

Alice was the wife of Chiu-An Wang, MD, a renowned MGH endocrine surgeon who predeceased her. She is survived by five daughters, Irene Tseng of Phoenix, AZ, Alice Chen of Edmonds, WA, Ann Dohlman of Wellesley, MA, Gar Wang of Warwick, NY, and Amy de Rham of Bristol, RI; eight grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A private family Burial Service will occur at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Lexington

What an amazing and delightful lady! That smile epitomizes her beautiful soul. Alice's long and productive life has been lived to the full through grace, wit, dignity, and strength.
