Anne Theresa GLYNN

GLYNN, Anne Theresa (Kelly) The Matriarch, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and friend to many.

Anne died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on the evening of July 15, 2025, at 87 years old.

Born on January 9, 1938, of Ballyboggan, Athenry, Co. Galway. Anne was the youngest of four. Anne moved to Boston in 1958. Once in Boston, Anne worked for John Hancock.

Anne met PJ Glynn of Fohenagh, Co. Galway, that same year, at a dance hall on Dudley Street. They were married in 1961 at St. Columbkille's Church, in Brighton. Anne and PJ were just shy of celebrating 64-years of marriage.

Anne is survived by her loving husband, PJ Glynn, of Milton; her five children: Christine Freeman (Paul) of Milton, Michael Glynn (partner, Keri Cullinane) of Milton, Neil Glynn (Maura) of Needham, Brendan Glynn (Michelle) of Milton, Kelly Laurence (Andrew) of Milton.

Her 16 grandchildren: Kelly Runowicz (Bradley), Katie Freeman (Bradley), Caroline Freeman, Meredith Freeman, Ryan Glynn, Connor Glynn, Christina Glynn, Matthew Glynn, Deirdre Glynn, Lizzy Glynn, Keira Glynn, Sara Glynn, Sophie Glynn, Ana Laurence, Colin Laurence, Brian Laurence, and great-grandchild William Runowicz.

Anne was integral to the family restaurant and real estate business in Boston.

She was deeply faithful and prayed the rosary every day. She relished her friends and activities at Wollaston Golf Club, as well as in Hillsboro Beach, Florida.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a Visitation at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., MILTON, on Thursday, July 17, from 4–8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 18, at 10:00 AM, at St. Elizabeth Church at OLV Parish, 350 Reedsdale Rd., Milton, followed by Burial at Milton Cemetery.
