ANTHONY ADINOLFI Obituary

ADINOLFI, Anthony "Tony" Michael Of Hollis, ME, age 82, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2013 at his home, surrounded by family. He was born in East Boston, MA on Feb. 16, 1931, a son of the late Nicholas and Josephine (Flammia) Adinolfi. Tony proudly served his country in the USAF during the Korean War and served four years as an aircraft mechanic. He later went on to work 27 years and retire from Textron Defense Systems in Wilmington, MA. Tony was known for his love of fishing, tinkering around his home with anything mechanical, camping, vacationing, laughing and telling jokes, and spending winters in Fruitland Park, FL. However, it was his love for his family that he will always be remembered for. Besides his parents, Tony is predeceased by a brother- P. Arthur Adinolfi and his wife Josephine; and a brother-in-law- Anthony Angelo. He is survived by his beloved wife- Sandra (Simpson) Adinolfi; his sons- Thomas M. Adinolfi and his wife Nancy of Dayton, OH, James D. Adinolfi of Hollis, and Kenneth A. Adinolfi and his wife Jayne of Limerick, ME; brothers- Thomas F. Adinolfi and his wife Isabelle, Rocco Adinolfi and his wife Mercine, and Joseph Adinolfi and his wife Francesca; sisters- Mary Hallisey and her husband William, and Florence Angelo; and many nieces and nephews. A private Roman Catholic graveside service will be held amongst Anthony's immediate family at Riverside Cemetery in Hollis, Maine. Arrangements are with Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home – Buxton, Maine www.DCPate.com. In lieu of flowers, Tony's family suggests memorial contributions to either the Salvation Army, 2 Church St., Old Orchard Beach, Maine 04064 or to Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Rt. 1, Scarborough, Maine 04074.
