I am saddened to learn of Tonys passing. I offer my condolences to his family and friends. He and his wife Rosie were idols of mine as I grew up. They were kind and hard-working. I was 14 or 15 when I was babysitting their 3 children, Laura, Anthony and Barbie. Tony and Rosie would go out Tuesday nights, grocery shopping, and I would watch their kids. I sometimes watched the kids on a Saturday night, so the adults could have some fun. The children were always well behaved. During rides back to my house, Tony would always ask what was new with me, what I was doing or some question of interest about me. Tonys sister in law Susie lived in our downstairs aparment for a number of years with her two boys, and his other sister in law, Eileen, babysat me, and my siblings when we were too young to be left alone. So there was a history with this family while I was growing up. Life took me away from that area, but it never took the fond memories of such a kind man and a loving family. So very sorry for your loss.

My Boomp,
I will miss you so much. You never gave up on me and I will never forget that. I'll remember every lesson and I will miss every long conversation with you. I know you're up there dancing with Grandma Rose and watching over all of us. Thank you for always being there for me...for listening to me cry and always reminding me that you love me. You will be so missed. I love you.

To my oldest Brother Tony. Our distance in age and distance in life does not diminish the fact that you are my oldest, and wisest sibling. We did not have the closeness you shared with Chickey, Sal and Rose, but I will still miss the presence of you in our family's life. You had such a green thumb to have a garden grow in that soil on Clyde Street. My love and heartfelt sympathy to your family for losing you at still a vibrant young age. Love and Peace to you. To my brother and my friend, I will miss our long talks and the shearing of aches and pains. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You are pain free and enjoying the company of family and friends. I will always remember our conversation we had the night before you went home to be with the Lord. Until we meet again in His presences your memory and love I will cherish always.
