Many years have passed, as well as numerous memories. I am saddened at this time and send my utmost sympathy to the entire family.
Tony was my first football coach while in the 9th grade. His ability to teach with respect and concern will always stay with me. He had a calming, but determined manner as he attempted to mold young athletes into a team. To those of us who experienced his humane leadership, we have become better adults.

Your family is in my heart and prayers at this sad time. My Dad, Tony Fernandez, often shared good stories of the old days on Clapp Street. And recently, my neighbor, Bally Jardin and I chatted about my Dad and the Jardin Family.
