SCHWAB, Charles H. Of Needham, formerly of Newton Centre, March 13, age 94. Charlie was the beloved husband of the late of Irene J. (Bamberg) Schwab for 56 years. Devoted father of Cathy Thacker and her husband Bobby of Yorktown, VA, Chuck Schwab and his wife Judy of Belmont, Barbie Schwab of Southborough, Beth Benitez and her husband Magdaleno of Salem, NH. Grandfather of Christy, Stevie, Jim, Laura, Jason, Kacie, Anthony, Nicole and Juliette. Also survived by ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He served as a medic in the United States Army during World War II. Charlie and Irene were long-time members of the Great Plain Squares, square dancing club of Needham. Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Sunday, March 19 from 2-6pm. Funeral Service in the funeral home Monday, March 20 at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Private interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
