A bit of a clown on the outside, always offering the world a giggle and a wry smile; but heated, just beneath that playful surface, by brilliant burning search lights of kindness, compassion, humor, depth and heart.

So sad and sorry about David's passing. He and I were close in college and I had the pleasure and privilege of seeing Dave one last time one year ago doing what he loved best: playing and singing his heart out with a great band of friends. Much love to David's friends and family.

Mere words cannot begin to adequately express my sadness on learning of David's passing and you have my profound condolences on the loss of such a talented and wonderful son and older brother.
