Not sure what to say?

December 6, 2017

Nancy,

We were saddened to get your message about David's passing. We were thinking of you both at that time since it was the annual Investiture for the Order of the Holy Sepulchre.

We always enjoyed our times with you both and remember him fondly. He lived his life fully, but contributed back to his church and his community even more fully. People he touched were better off for the experience.

We are glad that he was a friend and will treasure that friendship.

With our love,

John and Donna Easton

Offering prayers for the repose of the soul of Mr. Gaffy, and condolences to his family and friends. I am sorry I will be out of town for his visitation and Mass. His sincere caring and warmth were a great comfort to my siblings and me as we and our father dealt with the death of my mother. Our mother's passing was our first such loss, and my first occasion of involvement in final arrangements. Mr. Gaffy's sensitive personal attention before, during, and after the sevices served as the guidance which has enabled me and my siblings to continue to plan and participate meaningfully in arrangements and rites for our loved ones ever since. He had a true vocation. Rest In Peace Mr. Gaffy.
