Ryan, Doris E. (Kane) Of Plymouth, formerly of Medfield, Quincy, and Roslindale, April 16, 2015. Devoted mother of Katelyn C. Ryan. Beloved sister of Margie Ciccone and her husband Michael of Walpole, Jimmy Kane and his wife Marie of Brockton, and Peggy Payton and her husband John of Norfolk. Long-time partner of Bobby (Bones) Miceli of North Port, FL. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Dorothy (Ferry) Kane, her sister, Anita Magee, and her bother, Bobby Kane. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends - new and old. Former wife of Billy Ryan of Somerville. Friend of Bill W. Doris worked as a cardiac nurse at Norwood Hospital for the past 14 years. Prior to working at Norwood, Doris worked for Franciscan Hospital for Children in Brighton, and at New Pond Village in Walpole. She also spent time as a Hospice nurse, as well as a summer camp nurse at Camp Calumet in New Hampshire. Funeral from the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Friday, Apr. 24 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church, West Roxbury at 10 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting Hours Thursday, Apr. 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline. Hi Do! Just checking in. I really miss talking to you, hearing your sensible self, you were wise beyond your years. An old soul. Ten years have now passed and it´s hard to believe. Lots of things have changed in our circle. We would have lots to talk about that´s for sure. Bones is doing great in Fl. He misses you lots too. May you forever RIP. Sending up warm hugs and kisses. Doris, I will miss your quirky little smile and big laugh! I have been blessed to have known you 30+ years and it was awesome to watch you become a fellow nurse. You showed anyone it can be done if you want it bad enough.

To my BFF. We met 30 years ago, and a bond formed that was unbreakable. We literally were pregnant together, raised our families together, meetings, Cursillo and so much more.
