EILEEN MARIE DONAHUE

DONAHUE, Eileen Marie (Conlon) Age 91, entered Heaven on Thursday, September 8th, amongst loved ones. Eileen was born in Boston, MA to James and Delia (Gannon) Conlon. Brought up in her beloved Charlestown, Eileen was a graduate of The Christopher Columbus Catholic High School in Boston's North End. Throughout her long life, Eileen worked in various jobs, but none more fulfilling than raising a family of six children. Eileen was greeted into Heaven by her best friend and husband of 67 years, John "Jack" Donahue. She was the loving sister to brothers James, Joseph, and Jackie; and cousin of Joseph and his wife Alice; sisters Genevieve, husband Frankie, and Marguerite, husband Edward. Eileen leaves behind her cousin Mary, wife to the late Danny Farren. Eileen is survived by her loving children, sons, John, wife Karen, Mark, wife Ria, Eric, and James; daughters, Eileen, and Ellen; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Eileen enjoyed spending time at the beach with her husband Jack, and whichever grandchild that they were enjoying at the time. She was a devout Catholic and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in North Plymouth. Family Burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. The Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home and Cremations Services of 1803 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, MA, is assisting the family with the arrangements. A very special acknowledgement to the tireless efforts of the Nurses Home Health Aides and Chaplain of Cranberry Hospice and Palliative Care, who filled the last year and a half with kindness, care, love and laughter.
