Georgia was one of a kind. If you won her over, you win the lottery. I loved her like a mother. She was, in so many ways, like a 2nd mother to me. I miss her every day. I have memories to last a lifetime. Blessed. Miss you my Georgia and loved our time together. ❤

I WAS A FRESHMAN WHEN GEORGIA WAS A SENIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL. SHE SHARP OF WIT, ASERBIC TONGUED, FUNNY, GENEROUS AND KIND, DROVE ME TO SCHOOL AND HORSE BACK RIDING IN HER YELLOW CADDY CONVERTABLE LICENSE PLATE some combination of 1243 (one condition sit in the back & just listen)I THOUGHT SHE WAS THE CAT'S MEOW.DRAGON RED POLISHED NAILS, COLORFUL HAIR BANDANA & A FIGURE I ENVIED,I had to wear a 25lb brace AND I LEARNED ABOUT BOYS AND DATING(as was typical of Georgia she admonished other who might be along in the car to watch their language cause there was a kid in the car)though she could be quite colorful herself. and now though her flame is gone it will never be diminished for you children grandchildren and great grandchildren
carry her spark, use it wisely, frequently generously and kindly for in that way your Mother, Grandmother, & Great grandmother will always be with you.
She has been with me for some fifty eight years.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Andrea and your family at this time. We first met you and your mother on the repositioning cruise out of Boston. We would look for you both each year when we arrived. My husband enjoyed sitting and talking with "Mother", the name he always called her. She will be truly missed.

My mother's favorite poem...so from Betty to Georgia:
The clock of life is wound but once
and no man has the power
To tell just when the hands will stop
at late or early hour
NOW is the only time you own
Live, love, toil with a will
Place no faith in time
For the clock may soon be still

My other mother, confidant, homework coach, strawberries and cream Sunday mornings after sleepovers, taking Jer as an infant at 7 am, watching the Today show in bed and picking him up at 4 pm. Everything to me. George, I loved you always...even when you weren't so lovable, you always cared for the underdog, got information and secrets out of everyone, HA HA AND YOU HOO NORMAL...
I'll miss you more than words can express.
Love you always and forever,
Your Suz
