GORHAM K. GOULD

GOULD, Gorham K. On March 25, 2023, the Rev. Gorham K. Gould passed away, at the age of 95; since they couldn't bear to be apart, this obituary is being (re)published alongside that of his "best little wife I've ever had," the late Rev. Marjorie (White) of Jonesport. Born to Chester and Mona (Bailey) Gould in Princeton, ME, in October 1927, he and Marjorie married in January 1957 and shared 66 years mostly in Everett, MA, where they raised Joy, Stephen, and David, latterly wintering in Lakeland, FL (at the Holiness Camp Ground) and retiring to an assisted living facility in Nashua. A Biblical scholar and nondenominational Christian, known as Gordie to his many friends, he served in the Navy, worked security at the First Church of Christ, Scientist and with Marjorie, pastored countless congregations around Boston from 1960-1990.
