JAMES O'CONNOR Obituary

O'CONNOR, James L. A longtime resident of Boston and then Naples, FL, died unexpectedly, on October 31, in Naples. He was 79. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Timothy P. O'Connor and Helen T. (Doyle); and all his wonderful aunts and uncles from that generation; and by his partner of nearly 40 years, Larry Hite, earlier this year in February. Jim is survived by his brothers, Paul (Anne), Kevin (Ann) and Tim (Eileen); ten nieces and nephews, nineteen greatnieces and nephews, and many close friends in the Boston area, Barnstable, and Naples, FL. Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, November 22nd, in St. Ignatius Church, 28 Commonwealth Ave., CHESTNUT HILL, beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Malden Catholic High School Fund (www.maldencatholic.org) or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org/donate).
