Dear Kathy, Karen and Laurie, I was so saddened to hear of your mother's passing, but know that she is happy with Louie once again. In case you are not aware, my mother passed last June. I can just picture your mom, Louie, my dad and mother having fun playing whist like they did every Saturday night for many years.

I was so sorry to hear about Jean. I have many nice memories of her at Longwood, sitting with Eleanor in the activity room or on the bench outside. I spent several afternoons after work in her apartment as she taught me the art of Swedish embroidery. She was so encouraging when I thought I would never figure it out. You have my sincere sympathy.
