I was a patient of Dr. Fine for many years as a child and adolescent. He was an exceptional doctor and human being. I have fond memories of visiting him at his Elm Street office. Rest in Peace, Dr. Fine.

Jeff and I were classmates at Hahnemann Medical College Philadelphia, PA Class of 1966. We were close friends and lived next door to each other on Summer Street. I have never known such a hard-working student who had a great sense of humor and was greatly loved by the other students, friends, colleagues and patients. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family.

As a former foreign student at Dickinson College (Carlisle PA), more than half a century ago, I had the lpriviledge of being associated with the Greek community of this institution and Jeff Fine became my mentor, counselor and friend.
He was full of energy, wit and displayed a unique sense of leadership and you would notice him at first glance in any social group.
A few years ago, I made contact with him and learned by chance that for his medical specialty he had struck a friendship with a colleague of his in my hometown which he had visited several times.
Today I sustain want to express my gratitude as an innocent abroad to this outstanding personality who did so much to make me welcome as an innocent abroad when he shared many opportunities to enjoy friendship, hard work and fun on campus.
I just came across the sad news but I do want to extend my sincere condolences to Jeff's family and friends.

Patti and Family, Jeff was my dear friend. I admired him and my respect for him only grew all the years we worked together both on Elm Street and Lincoln street. I began as his audiologist and we grew and went through many changes together. He taught my staff and me many things and was always curious about all our new developments in audiology. We shared great times together both working and socially for nearly 25 years. There is no one who could ever replace him. He was funny, bright, a great surgeon and Dr. and an interesting and a wonderful friend. He will be sorely missed by his family, past patients, coworkers and surely by my husband and me.
