SULLIVAN , Jeffrey INFINITE JEFF Jeffrey Naiche (de Jimenez) Sullivan, of Brookline, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, September 9, 2024. His Burial occurred on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Green Mount Cemetery in Montpelier, Vermont and a campus community was held at the Fenway Center at Northeastern University on Friday, September 20, 2024. Jeff is survived by his loving boyfriend, Matthew Principe of Brookline; his uncle, Patrick Crutchfield of Los Angeles, California; his sister, Melissa Hill of Brambleton, Virginia, her husband, Stephen; his brother, Edward Sullivan, Jr. of Peoria, Arizona and his wife, Catherine. He was a proud uncle to Cayden, Emma, Ethan, Kai, Keira and Noah. Jeff was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Sullivan; his mother, Marie Begay Sullivan; his stepfather, Edward Sullivan; and his biological father, Leonel Efraim de Jimenez. Born in Miami, Florida, on March 11, 1980, Jeff spent his early years in Los Angeles and surrounding areas of California, before his family settled in Arizona. A graduate of Arcadia High School of Phoenix, he developed a love of cinema, both high and low-brow films, working at the Camelview 5 in Scottsdale, at home watching the best of B-movie horror with his family and later became a trusted volunteer at the Boston International Film Festival. Jeff earned a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in Recreation Management and Tourism. Upon moving to Boston, where he attained a master's degree in International Higher Education and Intercultural Relations from Lesley University, Jeff was an influential figure in the Boston nightlife scene. He continued his musical journey by handcrafting CD mixes and generously share to old and new friends. Jeff had a bi-weekly residency as Infinite Jeff at Zuzu in Cambridge for his famed Penguin Club and DJed friends' weddings and private events. His visions for celebration knew no bounds, from creating champagne towers, to insisting on glitter and confetti for his themed house parties, which became a party dust that lasted long after the event ended. His music and attention to detail brought the crowds to the dance floor and elevated the energy to exuberant abandon. Always one to nourish his community, Jeff loved the kitchen and a good food project. He worked hard to perfect the perfect chocolate chip cookie, created new ice cream flavors, farmed ingredients from his garden for award-winning meatballs and his award-winning green chile chicken chili. A true explorer, Jeff traveled globally with groups or on solo trips, from Coachella for the first ten years of its existence and camping with friends or hosting groups traveling to Machu Picchu or Cuba. He hosted educational adventures for bespoke communities at ACIS Educational Tours, before joining the Global Experience Office at Northeastern University, where he guided and nurtured thousands of students over the past eight years. He strongly advocated for inclusivity and accessibility, fostering empathy for underrepresented peoples and local cultures. A plant lover, water baby and bicyclist, Jeff had tender compassion for all creatures and nature. Jeff is remembered for his cackling sense of humor, graceful kindness and unabashed joy.
