JENNIFER KIRK Obituary
Jen embraced life with the love of family and friends. Jen was a magnetic woman who enjoyed making new friends with her infectious and engaging personality. She loved dancing, skiing, and spending time in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She was generous even through death by donating her organs to extend the life of others.
Jen was an active and vibrant member of the community and loved working with children. While raising a family that cherished her, she taught preschool, served as the PTA President for the local elementary school, and acted as the local swim team representative. After raising her children, she began a career in health care with Back-in-Motion.
Jen is survived by her husband Bob; sons Ryan and Colin; mother Diane and her husband George Swansburg; mother-in-law Mary; sister-in law Colleen (Ken West); niece Caroline; nephew Joe; and many, many friends.
Jen's life will be celebrated on Sunday, September 3rd from 4-8 pm at the Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA 22315. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, September 4th at the Church of the Nativity, 6400 Nativity Lane, Burke, VA 22015. A burial will be held in her beloved White Mountains, at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bartlett, New Hampshire.

I made my first purchase from KF in 1980 and have loved them ever since. She was a shining light to everyone who knew her. I pray for KF every day . They have brougjt me so much happiness. To the Kirk Family,
Words can't capture the sorrow we feel. Thank you for sharing your mother, wife, daughter with us - we were so lucky to have gotten a chance to know her. She was the best preschool teacher a mom/child could ever hope for and she always brought a smile each time we saw her at swim or in the school or neighborhood. She will be missed dearly.
