JOSEPH GEDEN Obituary
Of Stoughton, formerly of Dorchester and Newton, age 90, July 5. Husband of 52 years of the late Dorothy F. "Dottie" (McLaughlin). Father of Peter J. of Middleboro, Carl H. and his wife Kathleen of N. Attleboro, Gregory A. and Paul E. both of Manchester, NH. Brother of Louise McBrine of Braintree, Ruth Malloy of Ohio and the late Doris McGonigle-Sapia, William and Arthur. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Donations in Joseph's memory may be made to Catholic Charities, 169 Court St., Brockton, MA 02302. Directions and obituary at

We were sadden to learn of Joe's passing. He brought so much knowledge and information to our meetings of the Olde Colony Civil War Round Table. He was a wonderful gentleman, and it was a pleasure to have known him.
