POWERS, Joseph G. Age 78, of Milton, formerly of Jamaica Plain and Forest Hills, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 26, 2024, surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Mary "Maureen" (Shine) of Milton. Devoted father of Annemarie McAdams and her husband Jamie of Weymouth. Cherished grandfather of Maeve McAdams. Loving son of the late Joseph M. Powers and Mary Anne (Devine). Dear brother of the late Marie McMullen and Margaret "Peggy" Higgins. Adoring uncle of Brian, Christine, Susanne, and Sheila. Also survived by many caring extended family and friends from Ireland and England. Joe served in the United States Coast Guard Reserve and retired from Polaroid Corps. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton, Monday, July 8 at 10:30 am. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, WEST ROXBURY. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON SQUARE, Sunday from 1-4 pm.
