03.18.2025 MEMORIAL THOUGHTS

My Dearest Kimberly,

Time seems to be flying. I am remembering you especially on this day. I am blessed to have so many loving memories of you. I remember your smile, your loving heart towards everyone you met, your positive attitude, your willingness to always help others, and your focus to achieve your goals. You are deeply missed and loved very much.

I recently looked at a picture of you holding Marcellous in your lap when he was probably under the age of one, the two of you look exactly alike. As usual, you were smiling like a proud mom. He is a young man now and you would be very proud of him. He has so many of the wonderful traits you possessed. He is kind and caring towards others. He is determined and focused on the goals he sets for himself. He is definitely your child.

Everyone misses you and continues to love you. I will always miss and cherish you and love you. I am truly blessed and grateful that you were in my life. Our time together, although short, is the most valuable part of my life. The fondness of our time together will continue to grow more each and every day. I praise God for the gift of you in my life.

Miss You. Love You.

Love Always

The days and months following someone passing away are torturous. No one talks about the years and missed memories. There are times when I wish I could pick up the phone and we could have one of our talks and I could hear you say " Carmichael...". It´s the little things. It was something about how you said it that made me feel some kind of way. We always made plans, always. We kept the boys close and I know that, as they are in adulthood now, we would have been closer than ever. I miss what I did have in you. I miss what I can´t have anymore in you. One thing is for sure, these memories are something I cherish with everything in me. Love you always my sister friend.

My Dearest Kim,

September 16th of this year would be your 49th birthday. Happy Heavenly Birthday! I cherish you deeply and will always love and miss you. Your radiant smile always displayed your deep joy for life. Your display of caring and sharing was so contagious. You reached out to any and everyone you met. You were always proactive to help any and everyone you encountered.

You were very comfortable in taking the lead and serving as an example for others. Your positive attitude was a blessing to others and lit up a room. People were naturally attracted to your inclusiveness, and you made others feel valued by you. Others have always spoken highly of how you made them feel seen and appreciated. So much time has passed, but it still feels like you left us just yesterday.

You would be so proud of Marcellous. He is self-determined and works hard to accomplish his goals. He likes working with people. This young boy who once seemed very shy at times, when needed, is confident, outgoing, and assertive. He reminds me of you.

I am so proud to be your mom. It is truly a blessing to have had you in my life. I thank God for the blessing of you. I thank God for the love from my beautiful, cherished daughter. Thank you for always making me proud of you. Thank you for showing me your appreciation and respect. I give praises and honor to God for His mighty creation of you. I thank Him for loaning you to me for the cherished time we had together.

Praises to God and my gratitude to Him for you. I thank God for blessing me with you.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, my Dear!

Love always,

Mom

My Dearest Kim,

Another year has passed and so much has changed yet remaining the same. Your dad is now with you and the rest of the family members. However, your love, warmth, loving spirit and kindness still remain with us and in our memories of you.

Thoughts of your smile and laughter still make me smile. You are thoroughly missed in our lives. However, we will forever cherish the blessing that we were allowed to have you in our lives. We are honored that you brought us so much joy and happiness.

We are always reminded of some kind gesture, action, or words you gave us – which is a reflection of who you were and how you lived your life. I am so immensely proud of all the accomplishments you achieved. I am impressed with how you positively impacted so many other lives. We all are much better for having you in our lives.

You would also be very proud of your son. Science says a child’s personality foundations are laid during the first five years of life. He has grown into a positive and self-determined young man. He recently received the second highest customer satisfaction rating in his job. I smiled when I learned of his achievement. He attained this accomplishment although he is among the youngest salesperson there and among the least tenured. My first thought was that he is developing his mom’s ability to deal positively and successfully with people. He is his momma’s child. You were a great mom. Job well done!

We miss you and love you very much. To God I give the praise and glory for allowing me to be your mom.

Love always,
Faye L. Brown

My Dearest Kim,

September 16, 2023 would have been your 47th birthday. On this day, like every day, I think about how much I love you and I reflect on the true Blessing you have been in my life. I remember your love for others and you wanting to show others love and consideration. I think about how we always got together to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions. Food, laughter, fun and good conversations with family and friends were always at the center of our gatherings. All of us sharing good times together always warmed our hearts. I miss you and love you.

In all of our celebrations, Marcellous was also always center stage and alongside you. The love the two of you shared was always special and self-evident. The bond of your mother-son relationship always continued to grow stronger and stronger. I smile just thinking at the sight of the two of you being together. Your loving and positive embrace of motherhood was truly always on display. You lite up when Marcellous was around. An old saying comes to mind: he was the apple of your eye. You would be so proud of him. He is strong. He is thoughtful. He is resilient. He is kind. He is loving. He is truly your child.

I am extremely blessed to have those fond and deeply moving memories of our time together. I am thankful to God for the blessing of you. I am thankful that He shared you with me. I am also thankful that you also shared the essence of who you were with those around you and with the world that you encountered. I am very proud of how you lived your life and how you shared your life with love and kindness towards others.

Every day, but especially on your birthday, I rejoice in the memories and times we spent together. From my perspective although your time here was very short, it has been an enormous blessing and joy to have had you in my life for the time we did share together. I miss you and love you. Thanks be to God for you and the legacy you leave behind for all of us. Love is real. Love is kind. Love is sharing and giving to others what we also want for ourselves.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, my Dear!

Love always,
Mom

3.18.22

My dearest Kim, on March 18th, I think of you especially. It´s hard to think that ten years have passed. It seems like only yesterday, yet still, it also feels like it´s been a long time to be without you.

I reflect on a conversation I had recently with your cousin Katrina when I mentioned Retreat Hospital. I had said the last time I was there was the day of your procedure for a mastectomy. She told me about how she and James had come there to visit you after the surgery. They went to your room, but you were not there. They noticed that some of the staff were in tears. She and James wondered if perhaps the surgery had not been successful or that the worse had happened.

She inquired as to what happened and why many of the staff were tearful. She was told that the staff was reacting to the fact that you had just gone through major surgery, yet you were being so positive, proactive, and encouraging others by passing out information to everyone else about breast cancer and reminding them about regular checkups. Your information even included biblical verses of encouragement. The staff was truly moved and brought to tears by your actions.

Today, I just smile thinking about that when listening to what had happened on that day. Learning about what happened, once again, reflects the essence of who you were and how you lived your life. No matter what personal circumstances you were in, you always still thought of others, and you naturally gravitated towards what you could do for someone else. I can always remember and be thankful that you were such a blessing to so many people.

I thank God for you and the opportunity to have had you as my daughter. I marvel at how great a mother you have been. It warms by heart to see the reflection of what you have ingrained into Marcellous and the love you have always given to him. He is a product of your love as a mother. Job well done. You will always be a cherished part of my life. Rest in Heavenly Peace.

Love Always,
Mom

My Dearest Kim,

Today would have been your 46th birthday. If we didn´t have this Covid-19 pandemic, on this Saturday, a group of your friends and family would be going to Islamorada Fish Company to celebrate and fellowship in remembrance of you. I am deeply grateful and blessed to have had you as my daughter. I think back on the many birthday celebrations we did have with you and remember the joy, love, and laughter we all shared together. Those celebrations were even more precious when Marcellous was born and became a part of the grand celebrations.

If we were able to come together this weekend, everyone would marvel at how much Marcellous has grown. We would mention how very proud we all are of the kind and loving young man he has become. It is said that a child´s personality is formed by the age of five. He is a reflection of the love and guidance you poured into him as you raised him. Thanks for the outstanding job you did as a great mom to him. You would be extremely proud of him and surprised as how quickly time would seem to have passed. Your little boy is now a senior in high school! You laid the foundation. Job well done.

I thank God for you and will always cherish the loving memories we have shared together. You are deeply loved and missed. Praises to God for the blessing of you.

My Dearest Kim,

Remembering you, especially on March 18, 2021. Although time has passed, but it seems like only yesterday that you left us. I take time out to remember how blessed we were to have you in our lives. How wonderful it was to see how awesome and loving you were in mothering your son.

Your love, kindness, and support for others was just a natural part of who you were. Your willingness to mentor, to lead, to teach, to organize, and to be a blessing to all you met, was indeed a gift you gladly shared. It warms my heart to remember seeing you in this role.

You were drawn to others, loved listening to them and then sought to be of assistance in any way you could. You gave the best of yourself to everyone. It is a wonderful gift of being able to make people feel heard, appreciated, and valued. You gave that to other people. As your mom, you also gave all of those things to me too.

I miss you and love you. You are always in my thoughts, prayers, and remembrance. I am so incredibly grateful that God blessed me to be your mother. I am so glad that He allowed you to share motherhood with your son. The love that was displayed between you and your son was so delightful. It always warmed my heart. Thank you for loving all of us. We all love you and miss you. I Thank God for You!

Love Always,

My Dearest Kim,

Thinking of you especially today. Its often said that time goes by quickly. That may be true, however, at other times it seems to be the opposite. I take solace knowing you are with God and the angels. I am reminded of the great joy and love you have given to us. Our lives are richer because of the presence of you. You accomplished a lot in the short time you were with us. Once a shy little girl, you blossomed into an assertive, positive, God-loving woman who showed compassion, forgiveness, understanding, encouragement, and love to everyone you met. You touched our lives and made a positive imprint that we will always remember. We will always love you.

I praise God for the blessing we had of having you in our lives. However brief, we will forever be better and be blessed because of you. One person can make a difference. You have lived a purposeful life. Praises and Thanks to God.

In reflecting on Kimberly's passing on March 18, 2012, we dearly love and miss her. I want to thank each of you for the love you showed and gave to Kimberly. It warms my heart to know that she knew and felt your love for her. As a mother, I am indeed glad that every day she knew she was loved. I thank you, thank you. She also loved each of you: her Bank of America family, her friends, family and loved ones.

Thank you also for the love and support you gave her and our family. Thank you for being there for her when I was in the hospital in December 2011 and giving her love and showing support during those difficult times. Thank you for standing by her during my subsequent months of recovery. When she was in the hospital and afterwards, thank you for the hospital visits, hugs, prayers, words of encouragement, flowers, cards, phone calls, various expressions of love and your continual support.

May I remind you or a loved one to have your annual mammogram, maintain your health and life insurance, say “I love you” to someone every day, live each day as if it's your last, and always follow your dreams.

May God Continue to Bless Each of You. God is Good…

Forgetting you would be like forgetting the sun. You brought so much sunshine into this place. I love you dearly and will continue to keep your family, especially Marcellous, in my prayers. You recall, I was only a year younger than he when my mom passed of breast cancer. Your memory lives on Kimberly. Your spirit is still here passing through =).

To the family of Kim. How time passed by so quickly, year ago. But know that God provided you with a great blessing the time you had with Kim; so you will always have eternal memories of her and the impact she had on your lives. We in the flesh are somewhat selfish because we want our love ones to be with us forever, but God always have a better plan. continue to grow in the Lord, cherish your memories and you will see Kim again in a better place!

I'm signing this guest book today because one day Marcellous will read this and truly understand what his mother was about. Your mom is, not was, but is the purest most revered example of God's love. You were sent here as an example of all that love. I am so proud of you and as the days, months and years go by I know I will remain proud of you. You are so loved and you have so many people in your corner. Most of all you have the legacy of your mother. Stand strong in it and never forget His role in your life. I love you Kim and I love my Celly Belly

To the Brown and Hyman family,

I offer my deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of meeting Kim when I worked @ Bank of America and as been echoed through all of these post, she was not only kind and gentle but a fighter. From the moment I heard that she was sick, I was in prayer for her. Although she will be missed, we know that she doesn't have to hurt any longer and she is now with God. For the 2 Cor 5:8 says, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord". You can now rest in his bosum baby girl and experience no more pain ...

Continued prayers to her husband, son, parents, and all her family and friends.
