GINSBERG, Lawrence Of Newburyport, MA, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at the age of 75. He was the devoted husband of the late Shirley A Ginsberg. Born and raised in Revere, MA, he was the son of the late Julius and Rose Ginsberg and dear brother to Carol Ginsberg and the late Martin and David Ginsberg. Beloved father of Mark A Ginsberg and his wife Cheryl of Hampton Falls, NH, Scott Ginsberg and his wife Stephanie of North Andover, MA, Robert Ginsberg of Swampscott, MA and his fiancee Lisa Carbone, Joel Ginsberg and his wife Ann Slotwinski of Somerville, MA and Alex Ghersi of Hampton Falls, NH. He is also lovingly survived by four grandchildren: Andrew, Chloe, Miguel and Alex and his loving partner Sandra Scola. Lawrence was a businessman, philanthropist and a wonderful friend to many. He loved his family, his friends, his dogs and fine food and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at Temple Israel, 200 State St., Portsmouth, NH on Wednesday, August 3rd at 10:30 AM. Shiva will be observed from 3-8 PM Wednesday, August 3rd at the home of Robert Ginsberg and Lisa Carbone, 404 Puritan Rd, Swampscott, MA. Arrangements by J. To the Ginsberg family I am shocked and saddened to hear the news about Larry I met him in 1968,did a lot of real estate deals together I always liked and admired him Great man and great talent I loved him and Shirley I remember my wife Julie and I going to Springfield on Larry's plane You boys were young then but I got to know Mark pretty well. Larry was my employer, friend and mentor for 35 years and I will always be indebted to him for his generosity and kindnesses. My condolences to the Ginsberg family and am so sorry I am unable to attend his funeral service but he will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
