O'BRIEN, Leo P. Of Malden, formerly of Medford, at age 96, October 14, 2021. Husband of the late Margaret "Mardie" (O'Donnell) O'Brien. Beloved father of Sharon O'Brien of Norfolk, Mary B. O'Brien of Maynard, Neil P. O'Brien and his wife Claire of Tacoma, WA, Anne M. O'Brien and Marc Spiegelman of Piermont, NY, Caroline M. O'Brien and her husband Christopher Moroney of Stoneham, Gerard L. O'Brien and his wife Alanna of Portland, OR, Roisin M. O'Brien and her husband Eric Avidon of Wayland and the late Michael J. O'Brien. Also survived by 7 grandchildren Aidan, Finbar, Declan, Michael, Maeve, Delia and Aileen. Brother of Corneilius O'Brien of Maynard and Kennebunkport, ME and the late James, John, Francis, Mary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant Street, MALDEN on Tuesday, October 19th at 9a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at the Church of the Sacred Hearts, 315 Main St., Malden at 10a.m. Services will conclude with Interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Visiting Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, October 18th from 4p.m.-7p.m. Late WWII Navy Veteran.
