LUCY A. LOUD

LOUD, Lucy A. (Cappuccio) Of South Boston, died November 2, 2016. A lifelong resident of South Boston, Lucy retired at the age of 65 from the Division of Unemployment for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She spent thousands of hours volunteering. In particular, she volunteered for the Heritage for the Blind of Quincy. Lucy also made blankets for disabled veterans. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Loving wife of the late Fredrick Loud. Caring mother to Paul Loud and Rita of Dorchester, Albion Loud of Pensacola, FL, and Donald Loud and Carol of Winthrop. Dear sister to Joseph Cappuccio of Roslindale, Michelina Birrittieri of Dorchester and Sylvia Parisi of NJ. Mother-in-law of Dr. Jean Curtis Loud and Angelo Cappuccio of Martha's Vineyard. Lifelong friend and companion of the late Gerry Tarrulo. Cheished Nana of the late Adam Curtis Loud. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.
