Malama Xerras Obituary

XERRAS, Malama T. "Molly" (Mitchell) Age 64, Peacefully at her home, Friday, Dec.10, 2010 in Peabody, MA. Loving wife of Spiros Xerras and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Dean C. and Lynne Xerras of Newton, Tina and Frank Varinos of Middleton, sister of Dr. George C. Mitchell of Easton, daughter of Filia (Mavrogiannis) Mitchell of Canton and the late Constantine Mitchell, "YiaYia Molly" to Madeline, Charlotte and Luke Xerras of Newton and Anastas, Speros, Elias and Sophia Varinos of Middleton and many loving brothers and sisters in law and sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews and loving friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., PEABODY facility. Her Funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by Services in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Paleologos St., Peabody at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to VNA Care and Hospice, 5 Federal Way, Danvers, MA 01923 in her memory. Graduate of Boston University 1967, retired Accountant at First Data Corp.

Dear Spike, Tina & Dean, George and all the family,
We are all saddened by the loss of Molly, our dear friend and neighbor. The world is a darker place without the sunshine of her bright eyes and smiling face.
May she be a blessing, a shining light and guardian angel to all of you.
She was taken away too soon.

I feel so lucky that I had the opportunity to meet and get to know Molly. I only wish it was longer. I will miss her smile and encouraging words. She always made me feel good. I will miss her. I can only imagine the pain you are feeling. May God give her peace and all of you strength. Know that your family and friends are praying for you and are here for you. Cherish her memory.
