My wife Jane and I will miss Martha's spirit, her humor, her generosity and her love of life. And we will cherish our friendship with her, and with her devoted and loving husband, Chris Reidy.

Martha was such a wonderful person, and she leaves a great void. I met her when we worked together at Spectrum, and did we have some great laughs when we found out how alike we were, besides sharing the name Martha! I grew up in Manchester-by-the-Sea, just around the corner from her favorite spot - Tuck's Point. I found out she actually knew many people that I also knew because she had lived in Manchester for a while. She always had a laugh. I can still hear her saying 'Hey Pal' and I can still hear her laughing. I miss her.

Dear members of Martha's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Martha at college at the New Division in Maine and was glad to reconnect with her after so many years at the last reunion in the fall of 2006. She was delightful and I am sad to know that we won't see her at our next reunion scheduled for the spring of 2009. May you remember her warmth and delightful spirit.

To the dear family of Martha.... I only had the pleasure of knowing Martha for a quick semester when she briefly attended the New Division of Nasson College. I also had the opportunity to reconnect with her two summers ago at our class reunion. What a wonderful woman who touched my life and others in special ways. I mourn at her passing and your loss and smile with you in her memories. She made a positive difference to this world and will be missed...

Martha was part of my childhood in Marblehead, she was about the only one that coud endure babysitting for me. I called her Brownie and I loved her warm smile. We both ended up in Gloucester over the years and from time to time we would run into each other and her smile was as beautiful as ever. She was a gentle and loving person, and will live on in my heart. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.

Martha was a great friend of our family. All our time was spent with laughter and a bottle of wine or two!! She was really a part of our family and I know her family can be proud to have had Martha as a mother, sister, grandmother and wife. A great loss indeed. Our love, the Buckles.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Martha for several years at Varian.
On several occassions I took photos of her and Becky & Rachel. I also had the pleasure of photographing her wedding to Chris.
Martha was a wonderful person, it was a pleasure to be called a friend.
