So many memories. You've been gone for many years. Your Mom added some more photos of you. I remember well the times we went out and laughed..
I am expected back on the eastern shores in the fall. The restaurant is gone now. It's unfortunate. I hope you will continue to look around the world and hope the journey on the next step of the wheel is a better one.

Matthew, 18 years have passed and somehow it still feels like it was yesterday. Time goes on, but the memories of you are always on my mind and in my heart. You left a precious gift to all who knew you. Your compassion, friendship, bright smile and zest for life. Your love of cooking, music (except for Queen...lol), gardening, good wine, etc. My heart aches for what life could have been had you still been here, but my consolation is knowing that you are at peace. In all these years, I've been blessed with some good friends but nobody even comes close to you. I can't help but selfishly wish somehow the 8 yr void could be filled. But the reality of it is, you can't be replaced. I still struggle at times, sometimes I get so angry at you for leaving us. Oh Matt I need you, I need your friendship. I'm so excited..the foundation is really happening..you always wanted a successful business..here you go my dear friend. I know for sure you were at the car wash fundraiser with us..bringing in all the cute guys ..it had nothing to do with Lauren and all her 18 yr old friends wearing short shorts...hahaha.
Even when I end up moving..the foundation will be coming with me..you'll be known and making a difference in Florida too!!!!
