My heart is broken to hear that Mike has passed. He was a great friend to my father, Liam Mezzetti, and the rest of the Mezzetti family. I was blessed to have worked with him at the Spee Club for so many years. He was always so good to me. He always had the right thing to say if I were upset. When he asked how you were, he was truly interested in the answer. He encouraged me, he made me laugh, all the time. He was kind, soft spoken, but never a pushover, caring, loving, funny and a gentleman always. I know he will be at peace and with his beautiful bride Sheila now. He will be missed so and loved forever.
My deepest sympathies to all the Murphy family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I know God and your Mom were waiting at the gates for him. Oh the party they are having. My girls loved your Dad so much..he made so much of them at church and then down Paddys. He was a true treasure, an epitome of an Irish Gent, and such a kind soul. He taught us all my example how to truly live and to live our Catholic faith..Thank you for letting us have him in our lives. He is reunited with his two loves...you Mom and God...

To the entire Murphy family.. I'm saddened to here of your loss. It was always a pleasure greeting your Mom/Dad on Parents Night at St. Peter's School. Though I didn't teach all of you, those that I did have are still fondly remembered decades later! May the love you share for one another and your faith sustain you during this difficult time.
