I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Though my memories are faint and few because i was so young, i still do remember many times spent with all of you and all of those occasions being unbelievably happy. Lucy's graduation from Deerfield, a dinner in Salisbury Connecticut when Tim was looking at Hotchkiss school, and of course quaint Martha's Vineyard...Nancy was a loyal and true friend to my dad and was an important part of my families life. We will all remember her very fondly.

love and very best wishes,

rebecca

Dear Garrett, Lucy, and Tim,

I was sorry to hear news of Nancy, and even sorrier that I hadn't been able to visit with the family for so long. I have the happiest memories from childhood visits to Martha's Vineyard, and I'll never forget Nancy's warm smile.

Dear Garrett, Lucy and Tim,

I was so very sorry to hear about Nancy. I know we haven't been in touch since Don and I divorced, but you guys have always been in my heart. We spent so many fun evenings with you all playing scrabble into the wee hours and eating Pepperidge Farm cookies and Hagan Daz ice cream... taking long walks thru Edgartown with Lucy, then Ryan, then Tim then Rebecca in the stroller. Nancy did not deserve this. She was a class act and I loved the fact she did not own many clothes, but the clothes she had were always of the very best quality. While the rest of us wore jeans and the like, Nancy always sported an elegant plaid skirt, fine cotton blouse, stockings and only the best of shoes., I really liked that about her. She set her own style and it suited her. I have kept in touch with your activities thru Ryan and Rebecca. Ryan is bar tending in Bath, England having graduated from Ithaca last May. Rebecca is loving URI and planning on a semester in Australia. I am taching art at an elementary school and have a wonderful boyfriend who is an attorney in Litchfield. We take Tango. Just catching up. Maybe this isn't appropriate for a Guest Book entry. But I send lots of love and fond memories your way. Your huge loss is felt by many of us. love. Laura
