I appeared before Judge Walker a number of times as a trooper. He was always fair and professional in all my dealings with him. I developed a great respect for him and quite often when I had to appear for hearings he would greet me by name. I can´t recall any other Judge remembering me by name in my 23 years as a trooper. I just learned of his passing and wanted to extend my belated condolences.

Judge Walker was a fair consistent down to earth guy. I had the pleasure of knowing him and interacting with him over my 32 year Law enforcement career with the Chelmsford Police Department. I knew him as a public defender and later as a Judge. He truly was a great guy and had a great sense of humor. My prayers and thought are with him and the family.

Many fond memories appearing before Judge Walker as an ADA. He put us through our paces but always with a smile and a laugh. A good family man with a "wicked" sense of humor. A formative experience in my legal career and so many other, Judge Walker will be missed.

I had the good fortune to work with Judge Walker as an associate justice at the Lowell District Court for many years. He was not only a skilled administrator as a presiding justice, also he was a first-class human being. He was always very kind to the associate judges who had the good fortune to work with him.

Judge Walker was a kind, generous and respectful person. He treated everyone he met with kindness and respect and in return received kindness and respect in return. We will especially mis our breakfast meetings at the OWL where he held court.
In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always

To the Walker Family:
Please accept my deepest sympathies. I had the great pleasure to work with the Judge, when he came on the bench. I learned early on that one of his great attributes was that he cared. He cared for those who appeared before him and those he worked. He understood empathy as being part of being a good judge. He made a difference in the many lives he touched. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Michael Sullivan
