PAULINE E. RYAN

RYAN, Pauline E. (McCarthy) Of Weymouth, passed away May 21, 2023, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness. She was 91. Pauline was born in Boston, to the late Mary and Martin McCarthy. She grew up in Dorchester, and was a graduate of Practical Arts. Pauline was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, Boston-based sports, family gatherings for the holidays, practicing her Catholic faith, singing, and dancing. Beloved mother of John E. Ryan III of Quincy, Dennis Ryan of Weymouth, Mark Ryan of Brockton, Maureen Flaherty of Weymouth, Sheila A. Miller of Weymouth, and the late Paula Sluhocki. Loving sister of Catherine Judge of New Hampshire; and predeceased by her siblings: Julia Lorenz, John McCarthy, Mary Hogan, Joseph McCarthy, and Francis McCarthy. Cherished grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the Visiting Hours on Friday, 4-8 PM, in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:30 AM, on Saturday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John's Church, Quincy at 9:30 AM.
