Unable to attend Raffael de Gruttolas memorial, as a friend of Raffael's I would like to express my deepest sympathy to his wonderful family, whom he treasured with great pride and affection. We connected through our common work in the field of bilingual education, with a shared appreciation of arts and culture as a powerful tool to bring diverse people together in a common humanity. His spirit lives through his work, but he will be missed! My sincere condolences [y abrazo fuerte! ] to his wife Lena, and their talented/artful daughters.
