Dear Mrs. Pascoe, Steven, Susan & Sally;
Our deepest condolences, Mr. Pascoe and your entire family will remain a big part of our lives forever. Words cannot describe the wonderful summers (and occasional winter events)we grew up with thanks in whole to Shawtown and the great people we met through it. I will always remember fondly, the golf cart sneaking up on us well beyond curfew, he could ALWAYS find us no matter where we tried to hide! These memories can never be erased. There will always be a special place in our hearts where a loved one lives on.

Dear Nancy and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was very influential in my children's lives, and feel it had a lot to do with the way they have turned out. We have only good memories of our years at Shawtown. May God be with you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Nancy, Steven, Susan, and Sally,
My deepest sympathies go out to you and your families. I have many fond memories of Dick from working at Shawtown for so many years. I can honestly say that part of the reason I have such a great job right now comes from working for Dick those many summers. He had a fantastic work ethic that was contagious to everyone around him. He made you want to work and work well. I know it's been 20 years since I last saw him, but I'll always remember him with a corn-cob pipe sticking out of his mouth.

My thoughts go out to the Pascoe family. As for memories...Oh my !!!where do I start??? I have to say that Shawtown and the Pascoes made my childhood just full of memories, from the garabage truck to the ducks in concert, water skiing and Bobby's show bare-footing.Mary's mountain and of course the wash houses!!! Picking up trash on the main road to get an ice cream at the shawtown store(which is now paved).Sally and I wiping out on her motorcycle after the freshly oiled road. I can see Dad and Mr. Pascoe rock raking the roads that were oh so perfect!!! Susan singing as loud as her voice would carry, And Steven and Mark always putting on some type on entertainment..Mark with the painted sun glasses and tooth brush in the pocket, we always knew when he was on the way "Kawasaki kid". Mr. and Mrs Pascoe always there to greet you with a smile on their faces..being a mother of two I just couldn't imagine raising as many children as Mr. and Mrs Pascoe did!!!! And a fine job at that!!!
Not to mention the air shows, I continue to take my childern to the camping resort at Danforth Bay, (which will always be Shawtown to me..if you have the chance drive through and remember who made Shawtown .."Shawtown") We stop by to see tha Pascoes and request our air show..he's never let us down!! My daughter (Andrea.. nick named him Uncle Pascoe) and she wants to fly a plane just like Uncle Pascoe!!! What pleasure knowing a man that has that much talent, a big heart and always caring and concerned about everybody that he meets!
I have to say that in my life time I have never met a man that has made such a difference in so many lives.
Just for the record..yes Mr. Pascoes was still doing wheelies on the four wheeler..just last summer!!!
What a wonderful childhood!! Thanks Mr. Pascoe!!!

Dear Mrs. Pascoe, Steve, Suzie & Sally,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Pascoe. He was a "big" man not only physically but in the sense that he influenced so many kids in such a positive way including me. Mr.Pascoe knew how to get kids to work and at the same time have a lot of fun. He used the gifts he had to cause us to learn responsibility and to help others. The summers of my youth were made rich because I got to spend them working and playing at Shawtown with my "summer friends". I'll never forget, wash house duty, the garbage gang, the sand pit, the girls shack, boating, skiing, fishing, swimming and yes even tipping over canoes. I remember dinner out with the Pascoes at "Sunny Villa" after a long hot summer and even the chance to go to the Worcester Camping Show with Mr. Pascoe and Suzie. Thanks for the wonderful memories Mr. Pascoe, I'll miss you.

Nancy, Steve, Susan & Sally,
My deepest sympathy on the passing of your husband and father. Although I have not seen you in many years, not a day goes by that I don't think of you or that I am reminded of the best 19 summers anyone could ever ask for. I feel that I literally grew up at Shawtown and it was Mr Pascoe who gave me my first job, picking up "butts" on the beach. Working at the ice shack and then cleaning one of the wash houses followed by driving the dump truck and working along side Brian Burke as Mr. Pascoe's right and left hand men helped make me into the man I am today. I will always remember the giant "red rover" games we had in the parking lot on Friday evenings as all the kids waited for thier dad's to come for the weekend. Shawtown was a wonderful, safe place to spend the summer as a child. I learned to swim at the first beach swim area, and to water ski behind your boat. filliing up the back of the pick up truck with kids and Sally taking us to the drive-in movies will always be a fond memory. My thoughts, prayers, and well wishes are with you all, your family, memories of Shawtown and Mr. Pascoe will always be in my heart. I know that he is in a better place now, enjoying his reunion with family and friends in God's home. May the Lord bless you all and keep you comforted during this time.

Nancy, Steve, Susan & Sally,
I have so many fond memories of my summers growing up at Shawtown. Mr. Pascoe was always someone we respected because he expected us to be good kids and respect his/our campground. I have vidid memories of working on the dump truck, working in the ice shack and ice cream stand.I remember climbing Mary's Mountain and running for our lives because of the ghosts in the old bus on the logging road! Camping out in the sites on the playground and spinning on the merry-go-round until we were dizzy will always make me smile. I always loved the evenings when the Indians, (of course it would now be Native Americans!) came to the campground and I got my first turquiouse ring! I was just a baby when I first went to Shawtown and it was such a huge part of of my childhood. I often wondered what happened to everyone from those years! Mr. Pascoe and your family will always remain a big part of my of childhood memories. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember Mr. Pascoe flying his plane over the campground.God will watch over him as he is now flying high above the campground he loved so much.Mr. Pascoe will remain in the hearts of so many, young and old. God Bless.

My deepest sympathies are for you Mrs. Pascoe, Steven, Susan and Sally. Growing up spending all my summers at Shawtown was indeed a very wonderful and memorable part of my life. We "kids" loved Mr. Pascoe, but were always somewhat afraid of him...as I think back, I realize those feelings stemmed from the respect we had for him. Some of my fondest memories involve trips in the dump truck and dodging the golf cart (especially after curfew). He loved his campground and worked so hard at running it well and keeping it beautiful. More than that, I know he loved his family. He always loved flying his plane above all the beauty...once again, he can look down in awe. Mr. Pascoe, you were a big part of my life and although I hadn't seen you in years, I will miss you! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
