Ruth Haskell Obituary

81, of Yarmouthport, died Feb. 7, 2004. Wife of the late John "Pete" Haskell, who died Dec. 22, 2003. Mother of Nancy Magnussen and her husband Donald of Duxbury, Wendy Haskell and her husband Peter Dickow of Grand Rapids, MI and Richard Haskell of South Burlington, VT. Also survived by five grandchildren and two nephews and a niece. A former secretary in Boston and a homemaker. Born in Boston. Graduate of Colby Jr. College. Raised family in Milton and Longmeadow. Retired in 1980 to Norwich, VT, Hendersonville, NC and recently to Yarmouthport. Visiting hours for both Mr. and Mrs. Haskell will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday Feb. 14 in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., SOUTH YARMOUTH, MA. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 100 Dorset St., South Burlington, VT 05403.
