I knew Sam through business and I can say that he was always, without fail, the gentleman, fair, positive and energetic. I never heard one negative word from him about anything or anybody and I knew him for over 25 years. Rest in Peace Sam.

To all the Thomases,
I read Sam's obituary in the Boston Globe last night, and couldn't believe what I was reading. I am very sad and send you all love and deepest sympathy. To Mrs. Thomas, Pam, Mark and Geraldine, know that I have been thinking of wonderful memories on the Old Lyme shore when we were all so young. To Sam's wife and daughters, I have been thinking of what a good man he was and how he has been taken way way too soon. With love and peace,

Dear Connie, Pam, Mark, Geraldine, Maggie, Ashley, Molly and all of Sam's extended family.

My sister, Adele, just called me after reading Sam's obit in the Globe. I am so terribly sorry to hear this news! For Maggie, Ashley and Molly, my sister and I grew up with the Thomases in Old Lyme back in the 60s and 70s and we were all very close friends. For Pam, Mark and Geraldine, I can only imagine your grief at the loss of your brother. For Connie, I send my sincerest sympathies. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will try to make it back east for the services. God Bless you all.
