Sandy always had a smile for anyone and always a good word. John and I enjoyed both she and Ted´s company. We especially enjoyed a trip "Castles on the Rhine" that we both took organized by Lew Winger. Who couldn´t have been more fun to be with! I am sorry I cannot attend the service in Nantucket. Sadly, I will be burying my dear son Mark who died Sept 14th on that day.

Sandy was always so giving. She was a mentor and teacher to me in arranging flowers. She always gave of her many talents in time, advice and flowers anytime I needed help with an arrangement. I will never forget Sandy and her husband Ted going with me to their Crows Nest Cottage to gather greenery appropriate for the arrangements I was making for my son's wedding. A proud memory I shared with Sandy was the time NGC had a no show for a category in its annual Flower show. Together Sandy and I used the leftover flowers from our two entries to put together a last minute entry filling the empty entry space. Together we took a second place, which was pretty good for a last minute arrangement put together with leftovers! I loved and admired Sandy and am so saddened to hear of her passing. Love and prayers to her family. Ann Maury

Sandy gave me my first floral arranging class in the kitchen of a local Nantucket club. Her secret ingredient was 7-up and I would like to dedicate my first place green ribbon in the Daffodil Show in 2017 to our beloved Sandy . With love and affection Nancy serafini
