Shui Woo Obituary

WOO, Shui Keung " Tony" 62, of Quincy, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011. He was the husband of Annie C. (Lee) Woo of Quincy. Tony was born September 14, 1949 in Canton, China to his parents Pack Wong Woo of Venezuela and the late Wei Cheng (Tso) Woo. He was an avid soccer player on a Chinese National Team and enjoyed bowling semi-professionally in Venezuela with his brother, Freddy. He came to the United States to marry his childhood sweetheart, Annie, making their home in Quincy. A successful entrepreneur, as the proud owner of the Majestic Dragon Restaurant in Ipswich, he enjoyed laughing & smiling with his family and countless number of friends on a regular basis. Tony was a Mason and proud member of the Starr King Lodge AF&AM of Salem, MA. Through his affiliation, he achieved the rank of 32 degree from the Supreme Council Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He was a member of the Imperial Council of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for North America. In addition to his wife, Annie and his father, Pack Wong Woo, Tony is survived by his children, Edwin Woo and his wife Kendra of Braintree, and his son Adam Woo of Quincy; a brother Freddy Woo of Venezuela; a sister Dreana Woo of Miami, FL; many cousins, nine nieces and four nephews. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Emma Woo of Braintree. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 12:00 PM in the First Congregational Church, Main Street, Rowley. A period of visitation will be held at the church preceding the services from 9AM to 12PM. Family and friends welcome. Burial will be in the Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114-2699.
