My siblings and I grew up next door to the White family on Red Gate Lane in Cohasset. Mr. and Mrs. White were the youngest and most handsome parents in town, raising their 7 children with an abundance of love, honesty, laughter and religious integrity. Mr. White always showed interest in the young visitors to his home, and he flattered me with his heart-felt concern for my well being. Though somewhat soft spoken, his unforgettable smile revealed a remarkable kindness which I shall always remember and treasure. I send my love and deep sorrow to Kevin, Connie, Martha, Kristin, Terrence...and Nan.
