THEODORE JOHN GREENBLOTT

GREENBLOTT, Theodore John "Ted" Of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at age 44. Ted was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, instructor and terrific friend. He was a warm, loving family man and an inspiration to so many who came into his life. He is survived by his loving wife Lisa of 15 years, daughter Josephine (Josie), son Fredric, sisters Julie Greenblott and Dawn Rahilly, brothers Mathew Greene and David Greenblott, and 6 nieces and 3 nephews. Born and raised in Framingham, Massachusetts, Ted was the youngest son of the late Fredric Gould Greenblott and Judy Greenblott of Foster Drive. He graduated from Framingham North High School in 1988 and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 1992 where he played lacrosse and football. Ted lived his life taking care of his loved ones and cherished his long-standing friendships from childhood. He was a dedicated family man since marrying his college sweetheart in New London, Connecticut in 1999. He lived in New England up until 2004 where he moved to North Idaho with his family. There he fulfilled his passion in life of opening a karate studio and being an instructor, leader, and true friend to so many in the community of Sandpoint, Idaho. He had a gift of sharing his passion and love for martial arts to so many even outside of the United States. He was an avid sports enthusiast, skier, loved the outdoors, and also enjoyed collecting classic cars. We all have lost a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and dear friend too soon. All of us who knew Ted have been immeasurably enriched by knowing him and having him be a part of our lives. A gathering in Ted's honor will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Ken's Steak House in Framingham, Massachusetts at 7:00pm to celebrate his life. Burial will be at Pinecrest Cemetery in Sandpoint, Idaho.
